Introduction

Unlike Ahata Nada (struck sound), which requires physical friction or collision, Anahata Nada is the self-existent, uncreated vibration of pure cosmic consciousness vibrating within the subtle body (Sukshma Sharira).

Perceived via Divya Srotra (divine/subtle hearing) as Kundalini enters Sushumna Nadi.

Physical identification dissolves; a sense of profound weightlessness and inner warmth emerges.

Practice Framework — Nadanusandhana

षण्मुखी मुद्रा

Shanmukhi Mudra — closing ears, eyes, nostrils, and mouth to seal external sense activity (Pratyahara).

Ignore coarse/loud initial sounds and direct attention toward increasingly refined, subtle background sounds until only the central vibration remains.
