Introduction

Goddess Lakshmi is the divine consort of Lord Vishnu and the personification of wealth, abundance, beauty, grace, and auspiciousness (Shree).

In Sanatana Dharma, wealth is not condemned but viewed as one of the legitimate aims of life (Purushartha - Artha), provided it is earned and used according to Dharma.
