हि॒न्वा॒नासो॒ रथा॑ इव दधन्वि॒रे गभ॑स्त्योः | भरा॑सः का॒रिणा॑मिव ||
Forth have they rushed from holding hands, like chariots that are urged to speed, Like joyful songs of singing-men.

राजा॑नो॒ न प्रश॑स्तिभि॒: सोमा॑सो॒ गोभि॑रञ्जते | य॒ज्ञो न स॒प्त धा॒तृभि॑: ||
The Somas deck themselves with milk, as Kings are graced with eulogies, And, with seven priests, the sacrifice.

परि॑ सुवा॒नास॒ इन्द॑वो॒ मदा॑य ब॒र्हणा॑ गि॒रा | सु॒ता अ॑र्षन्ति॒ धार॑या ||
Pressed for the gladdening draught, the drops flow forth abundantly with song, The Soma juices in a stream.

Winning Vivasvān's glory and producing Morning's light, the Suns Pass through the openings of the cloth.

अप॒ द्वारा॑ मती॒नां प्र॒त्ना ऋ॑ण्वन्ति का॒रव॑: | वृष्णो॒ हर॑स आ॒यव॑: ||
The singing-men of ancient time open the doors of sacred songs,— Men, for the mighty to accept.

स॒मी॒ची॒नास॑ आसते॒ होता॑रः स॒प्तजा॑मयः | प॒दमेक॑स्य॒ पिप्र॑तः ||
Combined in close society sit the seven priests, the brother-hood, Filling the station of the One.

नाभा॒ नाभिं॑ न॒ आ द॑दे॒ चक्षु॑श्चि॒त्सूर्ये॒ सचा॑ | क॒वेरप॑त्य॒मा दु॑हे ||
He gives us kinship with the Gods, and with the Sun unites our eye: The Sage's ofrspring hath appeared.
