प्रेदं ब्रह्म॑ वृत्र॒तूर्ये॑ष्वाविथ॒ प्र सु॑न्व॒तः श॑चीपत॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॑: | माध्यं॑दिनस्य॒ सव॑नस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑स्य वज्रिवः ||
THIS prayer, and those who shed the juice, in wars with Vṛtra thou holpest, Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy succours. O Vṛtra-slayer, from libation poured at noon, drink of the Soma juice, thou blameless Thunderer.

Thou mighty Conqueror of hostile armaments, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

ए॒क॒राळ॒स्य भुव॑नस्य राजसि शचीपत॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॑: | माध्यं॑दिनस्य॒ सव॑नस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑स्य वज्रिवः ||
Sole Ruler, thou art Sovran of this world of life, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

स॒स्थावा॑ना यवयसि॒ त्वमेक॒ इच्छ॑चीपत॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॑: | माध्यं॑दिनस्य॒ सव॑नस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑स्य वज्रिवः ||
Thou only sunderest these two consistent worlds, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

क्षेम॑स्य च प्र॒युज॑श्च॒ त्वमी॑शिषे शचीपत॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॑: | माध्यं॑दिनस्य॒ सव॑नस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑स्य वज्रिवः ||
Thou art the Lord supreme o’er rest and energy, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving help.

क्ष॒त्राय॑ त्व॒मव॑सि॒ न त्व॑माविथ शचीपत॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॑: | माध्यं॑दिनस्य॒ सव॑नस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑स्य वज्रिवः ||
Thou helpest one to power, and one thou hast not helped, O Indra, Lord of Strength, with all thy saving aid.
8.37.7
श्या॒वाश्व॑स्य॒ रेभ॑त॒स्तथा॑ शृणु॒ यथाशृ॑णो॒रत्रे॒: कर्मा॑णि कृण्व॒तः | प्र त्र॒सद॑स्युमाविथ॒ त्वमेक॒ इन्नृ॒षाह्य॒ इन्द्र॑ क्ष॒त्राणि॑ व॒र्धय॑न् ||
Hear thou Śyāvāśva while he sings to thee, as erst thou heardest Atri when he wrought his holy rites. Indra, thou only gavest Trasadasyu aid in the fierce fight with heroes, strengthening his powers.
