This lone Kaśyapa mantra is treasured in Sanātana practice: Soma for Jātavedas, destruction of duṣkṛt vasu, and Agni as nāva across āpad and śoka—fire as ferry of duḥkha. The boat-across-river image seeds later mokṣa metaphors while staying fully Vedic: sacred fire conveys the devotee beyond crisis.
