Goddess Sati's left leg fell near the confluence of three streams (Trisrota) of the Teesta River. The deity manifested as Bhraamari (the Bee Goddess) to destroy demons using swarms of humming bees, symbolizing the primordial cosmic sound vibration (Bhramari Pranayama).
