Theological significance
This Peeth marks the place where Goddess Sati's feet fell. Worshipped here as Chhinnamastika—one of the ten Mahavidyas—she is renowned as 'Chintpurni', the divine mother who instantly removes all worldly anxieties, worries (chinta), and obstacles from the lives of her devotees.
Approach this peeth with quiet breath and an open heart. Darshan is not only seeing— it is allowing the Mother to see you.
