Theological significance
According to ancient Shakta texts, Goddess Sati's upper teeth fell at Alampur. Revered as the 5th of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas (Ashtadasa Pitha), Goddess Jogulamba is worshipped in a fierce form that dissolves negative karmas, illusions, and malicious forces.
Approach this peeth with quiet breath and an open heart. Darshan is not only seeing— it is allowing the Mother to see you.
